Bai Shaotong, deputy general manager of Sinomach, attended the 22nd Beijing-Taiwan Science and Technology Forum held in Beijing on August 28.
Themed on the Belt and Road Initiative, the event was hosted by the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA).
During the forum, Bai provided an overview of Sinomach and the China-Belarus Industrial Park built by the company, and expressed the intention of developing extensive cooperation with Taiwan companies in the fields of equipment manufacturing and research and development, as well as new energy utilization and engineering construction and consulting. He also invited Taiwan companies to invest in the park.
The Beijing-Taiwan Science and Technology Forum is committed to promoting economic cooperation and exchange between the two sides.
This year’s event focuses on building a cross-straits market, boosting bilateral cooperation in high-tech industries and facilitating communication among youth.
